Many are talking about how suspect at $NVDA sales in Singapore are, this post by @JesseCohenInv is a good one for example: TwitterX
However, why no one is talking about $NVDA sales in Taiwan?!
According to this report I found from #Arizton, Taiwan data centre market is only expected to generate 220m$ in revenues by 2028 with an expected capital investment that will total ~3.2bn$ by 2028 (14% CAGR).
According to $NVDA they sold 4.3bn$ in Taiwan alone in Q3, almost 9bn$ in total so far this year. Who is buying all these GPUs in Taiwan when the market doesn’t clearly have the size to absorb it?!
Furthermore, logically speaking, who is the non-chinese corporate willing to build such a large data centre in Taiwan when there is 100% certainty they will return under China jurisdiction in the future? If in 1 month or in 10 years it doesn’t make any difference, this will happen (like it did for Hong Kong and Macau) I grant you 🤷🏻♂️ Furthermore this transaction might happen through a conflict and a data centre building won’t cope well with bombs last time I checked, no insurance will take that risk!
Oh gosh if this smells fishy.
